Electric Lines & Trees

After a meeting with the chiefs at Poudre Fire they expressed concern about tree limbs hanging on or very near power lines.

You may have seen me going through the neighborhood recently to create a list of trees for PVREA to investigate. A PVREA truck also visited the neighborhood and checked each line for themselves.

This week PVREA came out and trimmed any tree branches in a 10ft safety radius of their lines. The remaining lines touching trees are telecom lines and do not pose a fire risk.

One more step completed to help harden the neighborhood against wildfire!
